It's a good piece I think, but I always have problems shading white ponies because of the contrast issue. Also, I think I coulda made it more sad, but I really don't like seeing ponies sad TOO much (except Trixie, I like abusing her :3 )

Let me elaborate, I try to simulate divided strands in this piece, but it won't work if there is more then 1 color, requiring me to find another way of dividing the strands; not to mention her hair can be construed as too happy for this piece, even if I gray it down for a depressed pony and add the brightening effect of the snow, it will look somewhat out of place.

Hair is evil and demands sacrifice, I'd be glad to do your request some other way, but as of now, a redraw wont work well here.
